Frank F. Osmond (birth registered January→March 1920 (age 91–92) in Newport district[1]) is a Welsh former rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, '40s and '50s who at club level has played rugby union (RU) for Newport RFC, playing at Hooker, i.e. number 2, and at representative level has played rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Swinton, playing at Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.[2]
Frank Osmond represented Great Britain (RL) while at Swinton in non-Test matches on the 1950 tour of Australasia, and won caps for Wales (RL) while at Swinton 1948…1951 14-caps.[3]
